When the reveal of Cayde-6's death was made fans were distraught but Bungie confirmed that they'd be paying homage to the character with a very special quest. That quest is called Cayde's Spicy Ramen, in reference to the exo's love of the tasty noodle dish. After confirming the quest a week ago, Bungie has now made the Cayde's Spicy Ramen quest live in the latest weekly reset. Players are able to go to the ramen shop in the Tower in order to pick up an item called the 'Expired Ramen Coupon'.

The lore tab for the coupon describes the flavors of the delectable dish, including its pork dumplings and the combination of salt and spice. But unfortunately, the actual quest itself is leaving fans stumped. In the Destiny subreddit and elsewhere on social media, Destiny 2 players have been producing theories as to what to do next. The coupon doesn't include any obvious suggestions about the next steps, but some believe that the mention of 'a pile of Glimmer' as well as Cayde's references to his treasure stashes are clues.
Players have already begun testing these theories, including completing public events (several feature defending piles of glimmer) and collecting all of Cayde-6's stashes, but thus far the efforts haven't amounted to anything. Bungie is one developer that is especially keen on Easter eggs (the is one particular highlight) and that's part of the reason why so many fans are reading into this. A tweet by Destiny 2 community manager dmg04 also sparked speculation. When asked about the next step of the ramen quest and if it is possibly bugged, dmg04 simply replied 'Leave it to Cayde to gift an expired coupon.'
Fans argue that if Cayde's Spicy Ramen was bugged or if the quest began and ended with the coupon, dmg04 would just say so, instead of responding with a cryptic message. The Destiny 2 community is known for its ability to uncover clues. After all, the was solved by the community, leading to real-life treasure. As such, few are doubting the community's ability to figure out what to do about the Spicy Ramen quest either. However, with the quest only having been live for an hour or so, this may take a little longer to crack.Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
