&. &. Cards referenced in today's chapter:,Hello everyone! This is chapter 10 of Dark Magician Girl Struggles with Yugioh, a series of comics originally by.What happened to chapter 9? I sent it to the Shadow Realm for having no relevance to us in the TCG.
It had to do with OCG SEGOC rules, which differs from TCG SEGOC rules. I won't explain it here since I don't want to implant inapplicable rules in the subconscious of readers who may get confused. You can read more about it.The location rules being different is something that came up I don't know when. In NA, cards have to stay in their implied activation location to activate (e.g., a monster with 'If this card is sent to the GY' has to actually be in the Graveyard to activate its effect), while they don't anywhere else in the world. Do note though that, regardless of where you are, if a card is shuffled back into the Deck or is banished face-down, it can't activate its effect (e.g., 'If this card leaves the field' can't activate).Side talk. If I had to say, I prefer DMG from the original manga.
She usually has a confident, occasionally smug, look that's cute. A more 'hardworking student/apprentice' vibe rather than a 'oblivious happy anime girl' vibe.to the original.of all translated chapters so far.
What happened to chapter 9? I sent it to the Shadow Realm for having no relevance to us in the TCG.What? D:I wasn't reading this to use it as a rule book! I just wanted more stories with DMG!I can't even read it at my own time because I think I need to register to that site and I can't read Japanese.
I'm very sad and disappointed about the decision.:(edit: At least I found, but yeah. I have no way to read it.
Can't even copy paste the text for Google translate.edit2: Uh. Is she taking her clothes off at the end of Chapter 9?
Does it have something to do with why she's black at the start of Chapter 10?. On the contrary, thank you so much!:DIf you feel like skipping a chapter, at least a link to the comic and pastebin translations like now would be a good compromise. Also, I was hoping to see something happen when DMG summons herself and that was the chapter when that happens.Eh. The sticking clothes stuff does make it awkward that I'm glad to read it. But it was more fun to read than today's wall of text comic. And it also explains the black clothes and I liked the 'Synchro or Xyz?' Nice plot continuity that she Xyz-ed and then Effect Veiler arrived later from Sangan's effect to explain.Additionally it's also clear now that Chapter 10 was the part 2 directly continued from Chapter 9 and after Infinite Loops to feature triggers. Effect Veiler's last panel in Chapter 10 makes more sense to read with that in mind.I see what you mean by the ruling issues, but for people interested in the plot than rules, there was actually a lot going on in Chapter 9 to just ignore it.
Good thing you had that Chapter 0 after all. Now the numbering is back the way it should be.The location rules being different is something that came up sometime last year, I believe. In NA, cards have to stay in their implied activation location to activate (e.g., a monster with 'If this card is sent to the GY' has to actually be in the Graveyard to activate its effect). Do note though that, regardless of where you are, if a card is shuffled back into the Deck or is banished face-down, it can't activate its effect (e.g., 'If this card leaves the field' can't activate). How does YgoPro handle this? I distinctly remember it acting the EU way, but I play in the EU.

Does the US matchmaking do it the US way, or is it EU across the board?. It should be noted that a good chunk of SEGOC-related OCG-TCG differences evaporated from TCG-side documentation recently: the age-old Sangan-Thestalos chestnut from my childhood that stipulated Sangan must be CL1 and Thestalos must be CL2 when you possess both of their effects is no longer applied to gameplay here. (If you possess both of these mandatory effects, you may currently order their CLs however you wish anywhere on the planet: this was not true in my region two years ago, and perhaps even one year ago.)The only remaining SEGOC-related OCG-TCG difference would be that not all activation-optional cards and effects get access to what we consider SEGOC TCG-side, whereas they all do JP-side, even those whose activation procedures do not specify activating at a specific moment and/or in response to specific happenstance. (Raigeki Break can involve itself in SEGOC JP-side, it can't here.)The other known difference - having watched its birth years ago as the direct fault of an unsanctioned post made on this subreddit, I entitle it as 'The Atlantean Incident' - is best described as standing orders of how-to-enforce in North America not matching the standing orders of how-to-enforce on the rest of the planet. In my duties, I get a lot of people who think it is an OCG-TCG difference, and I have to consistently inform folks that it isn't one, because that'd lump together two branches of KDE card business that actually disagree on the issue.
It's not a JP-EN disagreement, but an EN-EN one.
